This is a bi-monthly publication targeted at the 26–55 year olds with discretionary spending. Over 71% plan to travel overseas and 51% are influenced by what they read in the magazine.
This is an A4 glossy publication in full colour. The print number for each issue is 9,000 with 2,500 distributed into Australia. On sale in 600+ retail outlets including supermarkets, petrol stations and bookshops as well as dive and sporting stores throughout New Zealand.
Online subscriptions are a big market with a large number of these going to our offshore readers.

Unlike other dive magazines, each issue covers a vast range of diving topics, news and features to entertain and inform divers and non-divers alike. Regular features include: diving medicine; technical; wreck diving; commercial diving; freediving; spearfishing; dive equipment and training.
Each issue has a travel section showcasing dive destinations from different parts of the globe. These stories are supplied by our contributors or we work with the tourism office to supply advertorial to promote certain destinations. These destinations are world class or have a special appeal that will intrigue our readers and are predominately in the Asia and Pacific regions – although we have had great feedback from the readers when we offer stories from other parts of the globe.

Eighty-four percent of our readers are male between the ages of 26 and 55 with discretionary spending. 73% are all year round divers with 66% owning their own boat or kayak. 71% will be planning travel to an offshore dive location each year and are accompanied by a companion, with 67% of these being divers as well. These people are adventurers and when not diving will be looking for other adventure-like activities to enjoy. Our surveys indicate that 25% will be planning on buying new gear with in the next 12 months.

All graphics must be 300dpi. We cannot use low resolution images such as files from the internet. Files supplied in the incorrect format will incur a conversion cost. All design, artwork, typesetting, production and file conversion costs are additional to the advertising rate. Quotes available on request. Files can be sent to Dive New Zealand on CD-Rom, USB stick, email, Dropbox/Yousendit etc.
- Files should be supplied in high resolution PDF format.
- These can be exported from Indesign (select press quality) this will ensure default settings such as CMYK etc are used and click on all printers marks and bleed.
- Do not select any printers marks for anything less than a Full Page Advertisement.
- For advertisements requiring bleed, 3mm bleed is preferred, and save all pages as single left and right hand pages
