Date: 1/8/2013

An intact German Dornier Do-17 bomber was shot down off the coast of Kent, England, during the Battle of Britain,
and more than 70 years later, the Royal Air Force Museum successfully raised it out of the English Channel. Experts believe it’s the only intact Do-17 in the world. After restoration it will be on display at the RAF Museum in London. The aircraft was discovered at Goodwin Sands in 15m.
