The man who scared millions

Peter Benchley, author of the bestselling novel, Jaws, died February 2006 at the age of 65.  His novel was made into a blockbuster movie by Steven Spielberg. After Jaws Peter turned his attention to conservation work and cared very much about sharks, spending most of his life explaining to people that if you are in the ocean, you’re in the shark’s territory, so take precautions.
