Biofuel shift from soil to sea

Biofuel research is shifting from plants such as corn and soybeans to sea-based marine algae, informs scientists at Scripps Institution of Oceanography USA. They see algae as the best hope for a clean bioenergy source. Marine algae are the most efficient organism on Earth for absorbing light energy and converting it into a natural biomass oil product.
