Snorkellers take risks

Unprepared snorkellers at the popular Goat Island marine reserve north of Auckland, New Zealand, are getting into difficulties with growing numbers needing rescuing. Glass Bottom Boat operator Ivan Blackwell kept busy pulling exhausted/panicked people out of the water when they have gone too far from shore. They follow others out but with so little experience they don’t have a show of getting back. Some have even needed hospital treatment
