Paua Thieves and Poachers Caught (NZ)

Tairua: Three offenders were charged and their vehicle seized for taking 129 paua, all under the legal size of 125mm. Port Jackson: Three men face fines for taking 54 paua, all under the legal minimum size. Otago Peninsula: Poachers were illegally harvesting and selling large quantities of paua. An aluminium dinghy, 1500 paua shells, an outboard motor and two vehicles were seized.
