World’s Tallest Man Rescues Dolphins

Date: 1/8/2011

Bao Xishun was called to save two dolphins that swallowed plastic used around the pool at an aquarium in the Chinese province of Fushun. The Mongolian herdsman is the Guinness World Record holder for the tallest man at 2.36m. Veterinarians called him after they couldn’t get the plastic out with instruments and he used his long arms, each at 1.06m, to reach into the mammals’ stomachs to get the plastic out. Chen Lujun, manager of Royal Jidi Ocean World said the idea was very successful and the dolphins were ‘in very good condition.’
