An Australian programme costing A$1.28 million to catch and kill sharks off Western Australias coast should continue for another three years, a state government review found.
It also recommended the Government continue to be receptive to new
fully tested and viable technologies to complement/replace baited hooks.
The programme would run between 15 November and 30 April. The study is
in the journal Plos One.
